Your future work tasks

Sweden Commercial Finance Team operates several key processes and activities that are essential to ensure accounting, reporting and forecasting of business performance. In addition, Commercial Finance Team plays a crucial part in acting as business partners to Sales & Marketing teams in providing support and insights from a finance perspective.

Commercial Controller Analyst serve as a key player in the Commercial Finance team to support the business and perform hands-on finance related deliverables within a wide range of responsibilities.

Due to parental leave, we are seeking temporary replacement during a 17 months period.


About the role:

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Specific Nomad Foods Europe Head Office’s requests for e.g. detailed advertising spend analysis
  • Posting of rebate invoices, completion of rebate accruals and SOX controls (Making sure the business follows the Sarbanes-Oxley-SOX- regulation) in month end. Ensure they are completed in strict adherence to timetable, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Balance sheet reconciliation of relevant accounts (rebate accrual accounts)
  • End-to-end responsibility of A&P indirect costs. Support to business in PO process, completion of accruals in month end, cost control/follow-up with budget owners and forecasting/budgeting.
  • Business partnering in NPD process; support in building product P&Ls and providing insights from a financial perspective in NPD projects.
  • End-to-end responsibility of Daily (Retail & Foodservice-channels) & Weekly Sales (Retail channel) reporting, including weekly meetings with KAMs to forecast short-term sales.
  • Commercial controlling Foodservice Denmark, including preparation of monthly reports and forecasts (excluding month end reporting tasks).
  • Support to FP&A Business Controller on regular reporting activities like Daily Sales.
  • Other adhoc reporting, analysis and support to the Controlling and Reporting team.


Who are we looking for?

We want you to have a “can do” mentality with a strong ownership of your tasks and accountability to deliver on targets and deadlines. It’s important to feel comfortable with handling changing priorities and periods of change as well as with taking initiatives and communicating with ease with various of people within and outside the organization.

You need to have strong Excel and Outlook skills and a solid Finance/Accounting knowledge. Desirable is if you have previous experience working with SAP, Essbace and used to operate with BI-tools. Fluent speaking and writing in Swedish and English is mandatory.

A Bachelor’s in business administration and/or Accountancy qualification (or equivalent) is necessary to succeed in this role.

Essential: Strong Excel and Outlook skills plus solid Finance/Accounting knowledge.

Desirable: SAP and used to operate with BI-tools. Previous relevant work experience which has provided exposure to the required skills and competencies mentioned.

Temporary position due to parental leave, 100%.

Ideally with a start in mid-December and until May 2021.
