Demand Planner at Findus

As a Demand Planner at Findus you are a key player when it comes to forecasting and analyzing sales figures in our retail channel. You’ll be a part of our Swedish Supply team of 13 engaged people, and report to Planning Manager Emelie.  In addition to the local and international supply team, the Demand planner works closely with our sales and marketing department to improve forecasts and secure forecast reliability. We are working from home right now but are longing to get back to our HQ at Dockan in Malmö.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Work as a business partner to the local sales directors in the demand planning process.
  • Analyze historical data and commercial information to act proactively and secure excellent forecast reliability.
  • Coordinate information between different departments and stakeholders, making sure that decisions are aligned and that we fulfill our customer´s needs.
  • Report and follow up on supply chain KPIs, enabling us to continuously improve our processes.
  • Represent supply chain in Nomad foods integrated business planning process.
  • Loc
    al lead in process development and other improvement projects.
  • When needed, support the team in Findus IBP process (Integrated Business Planning)

 

Who are we looking for?

This role will suit someone who define themself as a 50% people/networking person and 50% numbers and Excel spreadsheet lover (yes, this personality exists). The role requires you to be a social communicator and coordinator as well as analytical, result oriented and with a strong statistic understanding. This role can be stressful at times with a lot of things going on the same time, to enjoy it you’d have to be able to handle several tasks at once without compromise with quality.

As far as formal qualities goes, this is what we think the right candidate will have:

  • Bsc or Msc within engineering/business administration or higher education within supply chain or equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience as a demand planner in manufacturing industry
  • Strong English skills, both verbal and written, many of your colleagues will be international
  • Very strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience from SAP, preferably SAP IBP or SAP BI
