AP Accountant to Findus Shared Service Center in Malmö

As AP Accountant you will join a team of 5 collegues lead by AP Manager Elly. The team is a part of the Nordic Accounting team and you'll work close with Findus colleuges in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. As of now, we're working from home, but normally we're based at our HQ at Dockan, Malmö. As a AP Accountant you are responsible for ensuring high quality and efficiency in the groups' internal control routines, processes and instructions as well as driving improvements to them. . You'll take part in with ongoing accounting, monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, produce reports and analyzes. 


Your key resposibilites will be

In the role of AP, supplier invoices that are received by the company are handled by matching against orders, and approver flow. The role involves communication with various departments to satisfy that the organization complies with current accounting rules and that VAT handling is done in a correct manner. You are responsible for reconciling the supplier's accounts and ensuring that the account consists of current items. The service involves dialogue with suppliers and purchasers internally, which sets requirements for both Swedish and English knowledge. Documentation is done continuously in everyday work in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

The role also includes

 - Update of Master data

 - Booking of accounting orders

 - Drive improvement measures / changes in the area

 - Ad hoc


Who are we looking for? 

We'd prefer if you have previous experience in a similar role and have worked in programs such as SAP & Excel. Experience with SOX is desireble.  In order to thrive in the role, it is important to enjoy working independently as well as with others in the organization. We'd love it if you enjoy driving new ideas/improvements/initiative to develop our ways of working. High school diploma is a requirement, we speak and communicate in both English and Swedish and therefor need you to know both.
