To support this, we are looking for a business-oriented and entrepreneurial RDQ Manager who will play a key role in innovation, quality, and regulatory compliance across the Nordic market.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a wide range of responsibilities, from product and quality testing to driving local innovation and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will work closely with factories, sales, marketing, and external stakeholders, contributing to our sustainability and growth agenda.

About the job

Drive Product Innovation & Quality

• Manage the local pipeline of innovation, renovation, and Fuel for Growth initiatives.

• Ensure all products meet risk, quality, and legal requirements for the Nordic market.

• Provide technical input and risk assessments in gatekeeping meetings.

• Collaborate with the Consumer Service team to build product knowledge.

• Ensure compliance with CSR strategy, nutritional targets, and sustainability goals.

Regulatory & Compliance Leadership

• Ensure all product & ingredient specifications are compliant and audit-ready.

• Collaborate with regulatory experts and legal counsel on compliance matters.

• Represent Findus/Nomad Foods in industry associations and regulatory discussions.

• Take a leading role in Incident Management, ensuring technical and regulatory standards are met.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Set annual goals and development plans for your RDQ team.

• Work closely with colleagues across the Nordics and wider Nomad Foods business.

• Engage with external stakeholders such as food authorities and industry organizations.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to maintain product excellence.

Who are you?

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in technical, quality, or product development roles in the food industry.

• Strong business understanding and the ability to operate effectively in a global and local setting.

• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is a plus.

Bonus Skills

• Experience in food innovation or quality improvement programs.

• Understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.

• Basic knowledge of intellectual property and competitive advantage strategies.
